Credits are due, lets' thank the following people shall we?
First and foremost, the boss of the camp, Benjamin Lim. He has put in a hell lot of effort single-handedly to ensure that the camp moves as smoothly as possible.
Ben Poo and his logistics team: without them = no fun intraclub matches
Kai Ying - who was always around to ensure that we get all the yum yums into our tummy! Let's not forget the food team that supported her (you know how you are!)
Tim and Amira, for the wonderful PT session in the morning
Rena, for coordinating with the external vendor for the interesting muay thai session
our dear teachers ms choo and ms tan, and grand seniors berakah and joleen who have taken the time off to come and join us for the camp, providing us support at the same time.
OF COURSE, YOU (the saf member) deserve a pat on the back too; because YOU are the meat of the SAF body, and without your attendance, this camp would have been left with BONES.
A BIG BIG THANK YOU.
i hope that everyone has something to take away from this camp; no matter whether it is some new sports knowledge, or a new friend made, at the very least you find your time spent during this 2D1N camp fulfilling.
no doubt, that might've been some problems along the way, but at the end of the day, we all must accept the fact that we are ONE SAF, and ONE FAMILY. we face problems, we resolve them. we work together as a team. yes, we occasionally do make mistakes - i mean, who doesn't? no one is perfect afterall. we must learn to see things in different perspectives, and not have such a myopic scope.
no one ever said SAF was easy - whoever said it in the first place don't know a thing about how the SAF functions.
unlike other typical sports CCAs, we are not only challenged on the physical aspects, we have to take the initiative to plan activities as well - its not just a prolonged cycle of trainings. so its of utmost importance that we understand each other's position, and not let it escalate and blow up into epic proportions, because chances are, we are going to work on another project, again. whether its just a training for a team sports event, or another camp.
if we keep the hostilities rolling, isn't our club going to just corrode and fail? we wouldn't want that right.
whatever happened during the camp, take it as a learning experience. meanwhile, i'll be taking your feedback into consideration, and will be working with vice for the upcoming june camp.
i hope you guys will realise the fact that, as an individual, you can never find happiness - FACT. its as a group of close friends, people you can identify with easily and thus work together efficiently - that's when wonderful and precious memories are created. and that's what you want right, to make your stay in the SAF a memorable one.
to end of this post, i leave with you guys a quote:
Coming together is a beginning.
Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success.
~Henry Ford

KEEP TOGETHER. WORK TOGETHER. GUYS. the end of the road, we want success and NOTHING ELSE. yes!? :)

Samuel Chia
